Beach and pools
Straško beach is one of the most beautiful on the island: two kilometres of shore, a shallow way into the sea and oak woodland that gives shade right to the water’s edge.
Straško beach
Sand underfoot, pebbles under your towel
The shore is pebbly and the sea floor is fine sand, so the way into the water is soft and shallow, ideal for children. A promenade with restaurants, beach bars and an ice-cream parlour runs the whole length of the beach, with the entertainment programme alongside.
There is a marked part of the beach where pets can swim, and boats, pedalos and jet skis are not allowed in the swimming zone.

Blue Flag
Clean water, certified
The Blue Flag is an international environmental programme protecting the sea and the coast. In Croatia it is run by the association “Lijepa naša”, and Straško beach has held it for many years.
