How to get here
Over the bridge or by ferry
You reach Pag over the Pag bridge from the south or on the Prizna – Žigljen ferry from the north. The campsite is next to Novalja, in the north-west of the island.
Map: routes from Zagreb (by motorway over the Pag bridge or on the Prizna – Žigljen ferry), from Rijeka and from Zadar Airport to Camping Straško near Novalja on the island of Pag. The directions are described in the steps next to the map.
From Zagreb by motorway and over the Pag bridge
Take the A1 motorway towards Split to the Posedarje exit, then road D106 over the Pag bridge onto the island. Continue along the main road through Pag to Novalja and follow the signs for the campsite.
No ferry and no waiting; the same route works from Dalmatia and from Zadar Airport.
From Zagreb on the Prizna – Žigljen ferry
Take the A1 to the Žuta Lokva exit, then drive to Senj and south along the coast road to the Prizna ferry port, about 50 km from Senj. From the ferry at Žigljen it is 10 km to Novalja.
A shorter route, with a ferry crossing and possible queues in season; the timetable is on the Jadrolinija website.
From Rijeka, Slovenia and Italy
Take the coast road (D8) south through Crikvenica and Senj to Prizna, then the ferry to Žigljen. The coast road from Rijeka to Prizna is about 110 km long.
From Zadar Airport
Zadar Airport is the nearest to the campsite, less than 100 km away. Drive to Posedarje by motorway or state road, then over the Pag bridge and through Pag to Novalja.
Buses also run to Novalja from Zagreb, Rijeka and Zadar (Arriva, Antonio Tours).
In Novalja
The campsite is by the sea at the southern edge of Novalja, at Zeleni put 7. Every mobile home, tent and pitch has space for one car; a second vehicle and visitors park in front of the campsite.
